St Andrews CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant and MDSA to join our team. The two linked roles support early learning, safeguarding during lunchtimes, and collaborative delivery of high-quality experiences for children.

Job description

Teaching Assistant & MDSA St Andrews CofE Primary School

TA Salary: Grade D, 4-6, £25,185 - £25,989 per annum (DOE) FTE

TA Actual Salary: £8.452 - £8,722 per annum (DOE) pro rata

Contract: Permanent. 17.5 hours per week

MDSA Salary: Grade B3, £24,796 per annum (DOE) FTE

MDSA Actual Salary: £562 per annum (DOE) pro rata

Contract: Permanent, 2.5 hours per week

Job summary;

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, motivated and high-quality Teaching Assistant and MDSA to join our team. We are looking for a committed individual who brings creativity, initiative and a genuine passion for supporting early learning, alongside a strong belief in enabling every child to reach their full potential.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a happy, thriving and successful school community. You will work as part of a dedicated and supportive staff team, collaborating closely to deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences.

In your role as Teaching Assistant, you will support our youngest learners in developing confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. Additionally, in your role as MDSA, you will help ensure that children are safe, happy and engaged during lunchtime and playtimes, working both independently and as part of a team.

The two roles are linked and form part of the overall employment package. If an employee chooses to resign from one role, they will be required to resign from the other role at the same time.
