Job description

Position: Full-Time Temporary Admin Officer

Location: Leyland

Contract: 3 months with the possibility of extension

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, Office Hours (37 hours per week)

Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour

Job Description:

We are seeking an organized, motivated Admin Assistant for our public sector client in Leyland. Responsibilities include:

  • Filing daily to maintain effective records in line with local procedures
  • Requesting and receiving information/records from other establishments
  • Storing records properly and forwarding or archiving as needed, in accordance with standards such as data protection
  • Delivering and collecting post where appropriate
  • Maintaining the previous year's files and managing archive and destruction processes
  • Providing administrative assistance in relevant areas
  • Responding to queries and redirecting as necessary

Training on internal systems will be provided. Excellent communication and IT skills are required.

Requirements:
  • Ability to follow established processes and detailed instructions
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Location accessible by car, train, or bus
