Job summary

The Cadillac Formula 1 Team is seeking an enthusiastic ADM Apprentice to assist in designing and producing 3D printed components for wind tunnel models. You will gain hands-on experience with advanced additive manufacturing tech and work alongside experienced ADM engineers in a high-performance environment.

This Level 4 apprenticeship focuses on additive manufacturing principles, CAD workflows, and real-world F1 projects, with mentoring and structured development opportunities on site at

Qualifications

• GCSEs (Maths/English/Science) and interest in engineering/digital manufacturing.
• Basic CAD skills are an advantage.
• Hands-on problem solving in a team-based, high-pressure environment.
• Willingness to learn and develop AM knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and maintain industrial 3D printers (SLA, SLS, FDM).
• Prepare CAD files for additive manufacture, including orientation and slicing.
• Post-process printed parts to meet aerodynamic testing standards.
• Collaborate with designers and model makers for high-quality outputs.
• Support development of new materials, print settings and process improvements.
• Contribute to quality control, traceability and documentation.
