Job summary
Skylight Psychiatry Ltd in Basingstoke is seeking a GMC-registered Consultant Psychiatrist to lead our ADHD medication titration pathway within adult neurodevelopmental services. The role offers hybrid working with occasional office attendance and a commitment to high-quality clinical governance.
You will provide senior clinical oversight, supervise multidisciplinary teams and develop pathways to improve patient care across our service.
Qualifications
- GMC registered Consultant Psychiatrist with valid licence.
- Experience in ADHD assessment and medication management.
- Strong governance, safeguarding and risk management understanding.
Responsibilities
- Providing senior clinical oversight for complex or escalated cases within the pathway.
- Providing formal clinical supervision and oversight to Specialty Doctors and other non-consultant grade clinicians.
- Leading and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical discussions.
- Contributing to clinical governance activities including audit, incident review and quality improvement initiatives.
- Supporting the ongoing development of clinical pathways and service delivery.
- Expected clinical activity is running one clinic a week to review complex patients or escalated cases, with related documentation, supervision, governance and service development.
