Job summary

Airbus Operations Limited in Filton invites undergraduates studying Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering to join a 12.5-month placement in Additive Manufacturing. You will design and manufacture metallic parts using AM, support drawing/build files, and participate in cross-functional activities within a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
• Strong listening, understanding and communication skills.
• Interest in additive manufacturing and aircraft technology.
• Desire to work in a technical team.

Responsibilities

• Design and manufacture metallic parts using AM technology in Filton.
• Contribute to design for additive manufacturing and drawing creation.
• Support build file creation, printing, post-processing and testing activities.
• Collaborate within a diverse team on project tasks and delivery.
