Job summary

Sky is seeking a senior leader to drive the platforms and business systems underpinning Sky Media’s advertising business across linear, addressable, VOD and digital advertising.

You will own strategy and roadmaps for critical platforms, translate propositions into capabilities, and ensure changes consider upstream and downstream impacts while leading a team of around eight specialists.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in advertising technology, media technology or advertising platforms.
• Deep knowledge of Google Ad Manager and the broader Google ad ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of video advertising and ad-serving technologies.
• Proven ability to collaborate across commercial, product, operational and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the advertising platform strategy and roadmap across key ad tech systems.
• Translate business ambitions into platform capabilities with cross-functional teams.
• Lead the introduction of new platforms while maintaining resilience of the current estate.
• Manage senior relationships with technology partners and suppliers.
• Oversee first-line platform support for Sales and Operations and guide the team on issues.
• Develop the specialist team and strengthen governance and continuous improvement.
