Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd, based in Rushden (Northamptonshire), is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the entire site operation with a strong emphasis on safety and COMAH compliance. The role includes digestate handling, feedstock logistics, and driving continuous improvement across maintenance and operations.

The successful candidate will have proven people management and process engineering skills, likely with HAZOP/DSEAR/ATEX exposure, and will report to the leadership team on site

Qualifications

• Experienced people manager with process engineering skills.
• Knowledge of COMAH regulations and Emergency Preparedness.
• NEBOSH general certificate preferred or to be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Pro-actively manage the whole site operation and safety standards.
• Oversee digestate stock, intake, sorting and loading from feedstock supply.
• Lead plant maintenance, planned preventive maintenance and budgets.
• Provide regular performance reporting to the leadership team.
