Job summary

Biogen (UK) Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to lead the entire site operation at Rushden. You will ensure the highest safety and environmental standards, COMAH compliance, and effective change control, including Emergency Preparedness for gas export to grid.

You will also manage people development, recruitment, and training, and oversee feedstock handling, site maintenance and performance reporting to the leadership team. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a site in COMAH compliance.
• Strong health, safety and environmental reporting skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Mechanical or electrical engineering background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site operations and ensure safety and environmental compliance.
• Lead cost control, budgeting and regular leadership reporting.
• Recruitment, staff appraisals and training across the site.
• Manage digestate stock, feedstock intake, loading and planned maintenance.
