Job summary

Prestige Nursing & Care Gateshead & South Tyneside is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RGN/RN Adult/RSCN) for Ad Hoc work in home and community settings. You will join a flexible, supportive team delivering person-centred care to adults and children, with responsibilities across assessments, care planning, medication management and clinical governance.

The role suits nurses seeking flexible hours to supplement other work, maintain work-life balance, or gain varied clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration with a valid PIN.
• Minimum 2 years post-registration nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assessments and reviews.
• Supporting the development and implementation of care plans.
• Conducting competency assessments and clinical observations.
• Delivering clinical training to care staff.
• Providing specialist nursing support for complex care clients.
• Ensuring safe medication management and clinical governance.
• Identifying and managing clinical risks.
• Supporting safeguarding and quality assurance processes.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
