Job summary

Prestige Nursing and Care Gateshead and South Tyneside is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RGN/RN Adult/RSCN) for Ad Hoc shifts in home and community settings. You will support adults and children with complex needs, conduct assessments, review care plans, and contribute to quality governance.

The role offers flexible shifts, ongoing training, and opportunities within a respected national provider. UK driving licence and independent working are essential.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration with PIN.
• Minimum 2 years post-registration nursing experience.
• Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills.
• Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Clinical assessments and reviews.
• Supporting development and implementation of care plans.
• Conducting competency assessments and clinical observations.
• Delivering clinical training to care staff.
• Providing specialist nursing support for complex care clients.
• Ensuring safe medication management and clinical governance.
• Identifying and managing clinical risks.
• Supporting safeguarding and quality assurance processes.
• Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external professionals.
