Job summary

Lextox, a UKAS-accredited laboratory, is hiring a Sample Collector / Phlebotomist to join its South Devon and Cornwall team. You will collect hair, blood and DNA samples at pre-booked appointments across Exeter, Plymouth and surrounding areas on an ad hoc basis, in non-clinical settings.

Canditates must be qualified phlebotomists with at least two years’ experience, hold a full UK driving licence with a vehicle and business insurance, and be prepared to work across a broad geographic area while

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ phlebotomy experience.
• Full UK driving licence with own vehicle and business insurance.
• Proof of phlebotomy competency may be required.

Responsibilities

• Attend pre booked appointments within 2-hour radius.
• Provide professional hair, blood and DNA sample collection.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients and donors.
• Support ISO17025 compliance and quality management.
• Ensure safe collection environments and document truth statements.
