Job summary

ICTS (UK) Ltd is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect people and premises at prestigious client sites in Brackley.

You will manage access, patrol indoor and outdoor areas, respond to requests, verify IDs, and operate alarms, with records kept across digital and paper systems. This ad hoc, shift-based role requires flexibility and strong communication, with a professional appearance and SIA DS/SG license preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Deliver clear written reports.
• Five years' checkable history and references.
• Criminal records check required.

Responsibilities

• Managing access control for buildings and car-parks for employees, visitors and contractors.
• Patrolling buildings, car parks and grounds to deter and detect problems.
• Responding to customer requests and queries.
• Checking and challenging ID passes with a professional and friendly approach.
• De-activating and activating alarms.
• Unlocking and locking buildings, rooms, external barriers and gates to ensure only authorised personnel on site.
• Identifying and reporting Health & Safety issues and carrying out first aid if necessary.
• Maintaining records including incident reports using computer- and paper-based systems.
