Job summary

ICTS UK Ltd is seeking a proactive Security Officer to safeguard premises and people at a prestigious client site in Greater London. The role requires handling access control, incident reporting, and first response to emergencies with a strong focus on customer service.

Shift pattern includes 12-hour days and nights on a 6 on 3 off cycle. SIA DS or SG license is essential; First Aid and CCTV licences are advantageous. Training across security operations may be provided.

Qualifications

• Essential: SIA Door Supervision (DS) or Security Guarding (SG) license.
• Useful but not essential: First Aid at Work qualification.
• Useful but not essential: SIA CCTV (PSS) licence.
• Proven background in security with emphasis on corporate security.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and safety of premises and people at a prestigious client site.
• Carry out access control and ID verification where required.
• Maintain concise written accounts of incidents and follow up actions.
• Respond to emergencies and pre-planned events as first line of response.
• Patrol the site to prevent fire, flood, theft, and damage.
• Provide details of incidents to the Control Room for reporting.
