Job summary

Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced acute speech and language therapist to lead and develop services in an in-patient setting. The post involves day-to-day planning, delivery and evaluation of SLT provision.

You will be based at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby or Scunthorpe General Hospital with cross-site travel, supporting wards and managing complex swallowing disorders, including FEES or Videofluoroscopy where possible.

Qualifications

• Acute careSLT knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SLT service delivery in an acute setting.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate S services across wards.
• Support and supervise junior staff and liaise with medical/nursing teams.
