Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to cover a period of leave in the Acute physical setting at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. Qualifications

• Interest in working in the Acute physical setting
• Band 5 development opportunities
• Willingness to travel for Community rotation between DGRI and Mountainhall Treatment Centre

Responsibilities

• Rotational programme across acute hospital specialties including Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedics, Rehabilitation and Medicine for the Elderly
• Provide a 7-day OT service with weekend and public holiday rota
• Deliver rehabilitation services in hospital or via community rotation (home visits)
• Engage in CPD with supervision under TURAS framework
