An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and clinically skilled nurse to join our existing Acute Oncology Team at Warrington and Halton Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will provide advice and implement patient care in the area of Acute Oncology, requiring specific clinical knowledge, skills, and experience. A development role will be considered for candidates with the right potential. This is an exciting time for the service to expand its coverage for this group of patients.
To give advice and implement patient care in the area of Acute Oncology, which requires specific clinical knowledge, skills, and experience. The post holder will work alongside other clinical colleagues in general oncology, palliative care, A&E, acute medicine, radiology, and pathology to ensure quality of care to patients is maximized. This will include developing clinical guidelines and education programs.
The post holder will play a key role in the Acute Oncology Team (AOT) and in delivering acute oncology services throughout the Trust. Responsibilities include providing early specialist care to oncology patients to enable:
