You will work as an autonomous practitioner and participate in training and supervising dietitian students and junior staff.

  • Participate in student education during clinical placements.
  • Evaluate and improve practices through evidence-based approaches, audit, and research, leading changes as needed.
  • Maintain and develop advanced skills, including CPD in oncological conditions.
  • Collaborate with the oncology prehabilitation team to promote good nutritional practices.
  • Possess highly specialist knowledge in clinical nutrition, including prescribing within scope and scope of practice.
  • Provide timely nutritional support and advice for treatment-related symptoms.
  • Offer evidence-based, unbiased advice considering patient beliefs and wishes.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments.
  • Coordinate with local cancer centers for continuity of care.
  • Represent the Dietetic service in oncology forums and meetings.
