Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic Healthcare Assistants to join our Acute Care team. You will work in a dynamic environment across ED, the new UTC opening in Autumn 2026, and the Acute Medical Unit, with rotational opportunities across areas.

You will support patients with daily living, perform observations and ensure high standards of care while maintaining dignity, safety and clear communication within the multidisciplinary team.

• Ability to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work rota patterns across ED/UTC/AMU settings.

Mansioni

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients within ED, UTC and/or AMU.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, privacy and independence.
• Undertake clinical observations and delegated duties in line with Trust policies.
• Recognise and report changes in a patient’s condition to the nursing team.
• Support patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication within the multidisciplinary team.
• Help ensure clinical areas remain safe, clean and well organised.
• Demonstrate flexibility to work across acute care areas.
