Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Reporting Actuary for a 12-month fixed-term contract in London, offering hybrid work with two days on-site at Angel Court. The role focuses on supporting actuarial reporting, regulatory deliverables and transformation initiatives during a key transition period.

The ideal candidate is a qualified actuary with strong fundamentals in reporting, reserving and capital modelling, and a solid understanding of Solvency II and UK prudential regulation.

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial fundamentals with experience in reporting, reserving and capital modelling.
• Good understanding of Solvency II, UK prudential regulation or equivalent reporting frameworks.
• Ability to interpret complex technical actuarial and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to prioritise work effectively, managing conflicting tasks and deadlines.
• Adaptability to changing processes as new ActuVate processes are tested and embedded.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial reporting for Executive, Board and regulators (ORSA, SFCR, RSR, QRTs).
• Contribute to BAU actuarial reporting and analysis (technical provisions, solvency, capital).
• Maintain and document actuarial models, data, methods and controls.
• Engage with actuarial community to gather inputs and share knowledge.
• Interpret prudential regulatory requirements and update models accordingly.
• Deliver technical provisions, SCR and ECA reporting in line with timetables.
