Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Reporting Actuary for a hybrid role based in London. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract to support actuarial reporting across Group functions during a transformation programme.

The successful candidate will work with Finance, Governance and local teams to ensure timely submissions and robust controls. You will contribute to executive and regulator reports, improve models, and support risk measurement including SCR, ECA and technical provisions.

Qualifications

• Strong actuarial fundamentals and reporting experience.
• Good understanding of Solvency II or UK regulatory reporting frameworks.
• Ability to interpret complex technical actuarial/regulatory requirements.
• Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks and meet deadlines.
• Comfort with process changes during transformation programmes.
• Clear written and oral communication for senior stakeholders.
• Strong financial controls and data integrity awareness.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial content for reports to Exec, Board and regulators (ORSA, SFCR, RSR, QRTs).
• Contribute to BAU actuarial reporting and analysis (provisions, insurance risk, pricing, reinsurance).
• Maintain and document actuarial models, data, methods and controls.
• Engage with actuarial community across Bupa for inputs and issue resolution.
• Support regulatory updates and adapt models/processes as needed.
• Deliver annual Economic Capital Assessment (ECA) and AFH reports.
