Job summary

Bupa in London & Salford Quays offers a 12-month actuarial undergraduate placement with hybrid working options. The role is full-time (35 hours/week) with a starting date in September 2027 and a salary of £25,000–£27,500, plus a comprehensive benefits package.

During the placement you rotate through Pricing, Reserving, Regulatory Reporting, Claims Analytics and Group Actuarial, shadowing senior colleagues and building your professional network, with potential fast-track to the graduate scheme

Qualifications

• Must have the right to work in the UK
• Current undergraduate student in penultimate year
• Numerical-based degree (Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or Economics) with a 2.1 or higher target
• ABB at A-Level or equivalent, with Maths strongly considered

Responsibilities

• Rotate through actuarial functions such as Pricing, Reserving, Regulatory Reporting, Claims Analytics and Group Actuarial
• Shadow senior colleagues to gain insight and build your network
• Support development through the programme and potential fast-track to the graduate scheme
• Complete a well-balanced rotation with a mix of challenges and learning opportunities
