Grant Thornton UK LLP in the UK is seeking an enthusiastic and commercially minded Manager to join the Actuarial & Risk Modelling team. Our team supports audit engagements and corporate clients across pensions, valuations and financial risk matters, bringing together actuaries, CFA charterholders and FRM professionals to provide practical, commercially focused advice.

As part of a growing team of around 15 professionals, this role offers significant responsibility, visibility and progression

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary with DB pensions experience.
• Experience managing multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
• Strong communication and report writing skills.
• Commercial awareness and business development mindset.
• Interest in AI and data-driven advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of pensions actuarial engagements.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Review technical work and coach junior team members.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and thought leadership.
• Support the growth and development of the Actuarial & Risk Modelling practice.
