Job summary

Zurich invites penultimate-year students to join its 2027 Actuarial (General Insurance) Industrial Placement Programme. You’ll work on real business challenges from day one, learning from seasoned actuaries while exploring actuarial reserving and pricing paths in the General Insurance division.

Locations include London, Farnborough, Birmingham or Whiteley, with a June 2027 start. The programme offers training, mentoring, and potential graduate-entry opportunities after completion.

Qualifications

Strong mathematical skills and numerical aptitude
Analytical thinking and ability to handle large data sets
Interest in pursuing actuarial career after graduation
On-course penultimate-year student aiming for a 2.1 in STEM or Economics

Responsibilities

Work on real business challenges within General Insurance actuarial pathways
Learn from qualified actuaries and analysts across the UK and globally
Support reserving and pricing work through data analysis and modeling
