Zurich invites penultimate-year students to apply for a 1-year industrial placement in Actuarial topics across London, Farnborough, Birmingham or Whiteley. You’ll gain real responsibility from day one within the actuarial team, with a buddy to support your transition and a pathway toward graduate opportunities in 2028.

You’ll work on actuarial reserving and pricing, using data and analytical thinking to inform risk, pricing and capital decisions.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year student on track for a 2.1 in STEM or Economics
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher
• Mathematics A-level at grade A or higher
• 128 UCAS points from 3 A-Levels (or equivalent)
• Right to work in the UK without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Work on actuarial reserving to estimate future claims costs
• Assist in actuarial pricing analysis and model development
• Learn from experienced actuaries across the UK and global business
• Collaborate with your buddy to settle in and contribute
