Zurich offers a 10-week Actuarial (Life Insurance) Summer Internship in Swindon, starting June 2027. It provides real responsibility from day one and hands-on experience with actuaries, across core actuarial areas.

The role is designed for undergraduate students in the penultimate year, with strong maths and problem-solving abilities. The internship is paid, with potential for a graduate offer and hybrid work after an initial period.

Qualifications

• Penultimate year of a maths-based bachelor’s degree with a minimum 2:1.
• GCSE grade C/4 in English and Maths.
• 128 UCAS points across three A-levels.
• Mathematics A-level required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work in an actuarial role from day one with a team of actuaries.
• Learn foundation actuarial skills in reserving, pricing, reinsurance or related areas.
• Receive a buddy and participate in Zurich’s internship project across disciplines.
