The Emerald Group in Dorking is seeking a Newly Qualified Actuary to develop and manage work across actuarial reporting, pricing, risk & capital, and related areas. You will liaise with the broader business and provide explanations to internal customers about your area of expertise, while also taking on line management and training responsibilities as required.

With a degree in a numerical subject and Life Insurance sector experience, you will contribute to financial planning and possibly work

Qualifikationen

• Newly qualified Actuary.
• Degree level education at grade 2:1 or above preferably in a numerical subject.
• Previous experience in the Life Insurance industry an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Expected to develop and manage work in one of the following areas depending on business needs: Actuarial Risk & Capital, Pricing, Actuarial Reporting, Actuarial Systems, Claims, Risk.
• To have a high level of knowledge and be able to play a lead role in at least one of the areas above and actively develop knowledge in other areas as required.
• There may be a requirement to work in a wider Finance or Risk role, for example business planning.
