Job summary

Aon invites students to join its Actuarial Consulting Pensions Industrial Placement Programme for 2027. The placement runs from 1 September 2027 to 25 August 2028, with closing applications on 7 December 2027.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a maths, actuarial science, or other highly numerical degree.
• A-level Maths grade A or above (or international equivalent).
• Practical skills in Python, SQL, VBA, or cloud platforms are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support building and running models for pension scheme analysis and validate AI-backed baselines.
• Assist with funding/valuations, projections and data reconciliation.
• Draft reports and analyses for client presentations and communicate findings clearly.
• Collaborate with offshore analysts within a unified workflow and maintain organised documentation.
