About the Role

The actuarial pricing team within Swiss Re Corporate Solutions is looking to hire a motivated actuary to join the team. This role will have exposure and shared responsibility for the following:

1. Impact on individual deal pricing, focusing on large FinPro accounts.
2. Supporting quarterly profitability reviews with portfolio insights and underwriting recommendations.
3. Developing rating models and methods using technology, internal data, and broader datasets.
4. Coordinating rate monitoring processes and feedback loops.
5. Researching external market environment, industry trends, and rate changes.
6. Supporting portfolio management and claims analysis in underwriting.

The candidate should be comfortable working with heterogeneous data, be curious about alternative data sources, and willing to develop product knowledge and collaborate with underwriting and claims leadership.

About the Team

Our team supports global Financial Products including Construction PI, General PI, Agents, Accountants & Consultants, Lawyers, Cyber, and Transactional Liability. Responsibilities include loss ratio projections, rating development, model calibration, and pricing support. We encourage innovation and work closely with business partners. The role reports to the Senior Pricing Actuary for Global FinPro PI within Corporate Solutions.
