Our client is an award-winning, leading consultancy with several unique opportunities across either Edinburgh or Glasgow for part-qualified, nearly qualified analysts/senior, and just-qualified actuarial consultants to join their central offices — with agile working encouraged moving forward.
The company has continued to grow, won new business, and obtained new projects, creating additional resource needs for both experienced professionals and those fitting within their culture. You will mainly provide high-quality actuarial services to trustees and corporate and/or private clients regarding employee benefits schemes. Multiple roles are available depending on career aspirations.
The successful candidate as an analyst will work in a close-knit team, delivering services to a portfolio of clients. Strong communication skills are essential to build trusted working and client relationships, with the ability to articulate work clearly and understandably. Responsibilities include preparing client invoices, valuing pension benefits, and understanding technical actuarial calculations.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are members of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries working towards actuarial qualifications, with at least 1 year of experience in pensions, preferably with knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes.
If you wish to pause your studies or pursue exams outside the IFoA, support is available.
Our client offers study support and top-tier on-the-job training to progress towards becoming a fully qualified actuary, along with a highly competitive salary and award-winning benefits, including flexible working and career development in a fully supported environment.
The successful applicant will be rewarded with a competitive salary, excellent benefits, flexible working options, and career development opportunities.
Please contact Alison Curran promptly to discuss this role and potential further opportunities across the central belt. All discussions are confidential.
