Job Opportunity: Actuarial Analyst

Our client, an award-winning leading consultancy, is seeking part-qualified, nearly qualified, and just qualified actuarial analysts or senior consultants to join their central offices in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Agile working is encouraged moving forward.

The company has continued to grow, securing new business and projects, creating additional resource needs for both experienced professionals and those who fit within their culture. You will primarily provide high-quality actuarial services to trustees, and corporate and private clients regarding employee benefits schemes. Multiple roles are available depending on your career aspirations.

Responsibilities
  1. Work within a close-knit team delivering services to a portfolio of clients.
  2. Build trusted relationships through effective communication.
  3. Articulate work clearly and understandably to clients.
  4. Prepare client invoices and perform pension benefit valuations.
  5. Understand technical actuarial calculations.
Candidate Profile

This role is ideal for candidates who are members of the Institute or Faculty of Actuaries working towards their actuarial qualifications, with at least 1 year of experience in pensions, preferably with knowledge of Defined Benefit schemes.

Support is available for those wishing to pause studies or pursue exams outside the IFoA.
