Job summary

PAUL L’Atelier in London is seeking a warehouse operative to support stock handling and distribution. You will operate a forklift with training provided, receive deliveries, rotate stock, and ensure accurate storage and invoicing records.

You will monitor temperature-controlled areas and maintain clear communication with suppliers and colleagues. The role emphasizes accuracy, organisation, and teamwork across departments to keep stock levels aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift (full training provided).
• Receive deliveries, rotate stock, and store goods correctly.
• Conduct stock counts and monitor inventory levels.
• Manage goods dispatched to customers and other locations.
• Record delivery notes and verify invoices.
• Monitor fridge and freezer temperatures.
• Handle stock control email inbox and respond to suppliers/customers.
• Collaborate with management and staff to keep all departments stocked.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing goods dispatched to external customers and other locations
• Recording delivery notes and verifying invoices
• Monitoring and recording fridge and freezer temperatures
• Managing the stock control email inbox and responding to suppliers and customers
• Working closely with management and staff to ensure all departments are fully stocked

Requirements

• The role involves regular manual handling, including lifting and moving items weighing up to 25kg, with appropriate equipment and support where required
• The role requires working in chilled and freezer environments for part of the day
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills

Working Hours

• 6:00am – 3:00pm (flexibility required depending on business needs)
• Primarily Monday to Friday (occasional changes may be required)
• Availability on the last day of each month is required, as this is when monthly stock take is conducted
