Job summary

Proman in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Forklift Driver (Counterbalance & Reach) to join our team at Aston Hall Rd. You will carry out stock handling, receive deliveries, label and store goods, check pallet IDs, and operate a forklift safely.

The role offers permanent opportunities, onsite parking and canteen, a workplace pension, and weekly pay. Applicants must have valid Counterbalance and Reach licences and prior forklift experience.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift (Counterbalance and Reach).
• Valid Counterbalance and Reach licences required.
• Experience with stock control and warehouse procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out stock investigations and resolving discrepancies.
• Booking in deliveries and ensuring goods are received, checked, labelled and stored.
• Replenishing stock and ensuring correct locations are used.
• Carrying out pallet ID checks and ensuring accuracy of labels, part numbers and quantities.
• Safely operating a forklift when moving, storing or replenishing stock.
• Maintaining housekeeping, safety and organisation across stock areas.

FORKLIFT DRIVER Counterbalance&Reach

Aston Hall Rd, Birmingham B6 7FE

Forklift drivers must have experience and valid Counterbalance and Reach Licences.

Working hours:

• Monday-Friday:39 hours per week
• Fixed mornings (Mon-Thu: 5am-1pm/ Fri: 5am-12pm) OR fixed afternoons (Mon-Thu: 1pm-9pm/ Fri: 12pm-7pm) - depending on business needs

Pay rates:

• £ 13.49- Standard rate (+20%premium for the hours worked outside of the company's core hours - 8:00-16:30)
• OT during weekdays:£20.24
• OT Saturday & Sunday:£ 26.98

Role:

Your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out stock investigations, identifying discrepancies and resolving or reporting any issues.
• Booking in incoming deliveries and ensuring goods are correctly received, checked, labelled and put away.
• Replenishing stock and ensuring it is available in the correct locations.
• Carrying out pallet ID checks, ensuring labels, part numbers, quantities and locations are accurate.
• Safely operating an FLT when moving, storing, replenishing or condensing stock.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and organisation across all stock areas.
