Job summary

Parkview Care Home, part of Charing Healthcare, seeks an Activity Assistant to deliver structured activities for residents with dementia. The role is 18 hours per week over 3 days, with alternating weekends. The position offers an hourly rate of £12.75 and provides ongoing training and uniform provisions.

You will join a caring team at Parkview Care Home in Greenhithe, contributing to a warm, comfortable atmosphere where residents feel valued and engaged in meaningful activities.

Responsibilities of the Activity Assistant Role:

• Provide a range of structured activities to engage people and stimulate them socially.
• Promote a warm and relaxed environment in which people can be supported to enjoy themselves and feel valued.

Requirements of the Activity Assistant Role:

• Previous experience in Care or activity assistant preferred but not essential
