Activity Leader – Leading Children’s Play and Sport Provision Company

Term-Time/Permanent Contract

Salary: £6.40-£12.21 per hour (depending on age, experience and qualifications)

Hours: 18.75 per week = Monday to Friday 2:45-6:30pm

We are recruiting for the leading provider of out-of-school-hours childcare for primary school children in the UK. This company continues to grow in size, quality, and scope every year and is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about children’s play and activity, and who can inspire the next generation of children!

As an Activity Leader, you don't necessarily need significant experience, but you will need to have...

• A Passion for Working with Children: We're looking for someone to provide inclusive, fun, and engaging activities for the children in your care, inspiring them to explore their interests.
• Enthusiasm and Organisation Skills: You will assist with planning and delivering activities with structure and enthusiasm, including multi-sports, indoor and outdoor games, arts & crafts, downtime, and structured play.
• Responsibility and Reliability: The safety and enjoyment of the children are your responsibilities. All team members must follow policies and procedures, including completing Accident and Incident Forms and Health & Safety checks as needed. Reliable staff benefit the children and families served.
• Communication and Engagement: All Play Workers are expected to conduct themselves professionally and communicate effectively with team members, parents, children, and schools daily. You will represent the organisation's brand, so being personable and professional is essential.
