Your primary focus will be on developing, planning and delivering engaging activities for our patients, ensuring their time at Cherry Tree Close is enriched and enjoyable.
The Activities Coordinator is an integral part of the team at Cherry Tree Close, actively collaborating with different agencies to identify and provide a multitude of activities for patients. The post holder will be responsible for planning and organising an engaging and stimulating program of activities within the service, aimed at supporting service users on their path towards recovery and independent living.
You will play a key role in encouraging and inspiring service users to participate in meaningful activities whilst maintaining their independence, choice and dignity.
Your role will involve interacting with individuals to explore their preferences for activities. You will be expected to coordinate activities that are personalised to meet the specific needs of each individual, as well as plan group activities that facilitate social interaction. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients to attend community-based activities by arranging transportation.
You will have the pleasure of working with an experienced clinical team that consists of Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Nursing Assistants and medics.
To work directly with service users in providing high-quality service delivery.
