Bradbury Wing, rated "Outstanding" by CQC, is a residential care home for 20 adults with physical disabilities, located in Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
As an Activities Worker, you will deliver engaging social and recreational activities, organise outings and events, and create exciting opportunities for residents. Your creativity and passion will help support people with disabilities by providing variety and choice.
You may organise large-scale social events, find common interests in smaller groups, or facilitate activities like baking — creativity is key!
No previous experience in activity work is required, but artistic flair, strong organisational skills, or interest in social activities is essential. Experience working with people with disabilities is advantageous.
