Job description

Part-time Activities Worker Position

Hours: 20 hours per week.

Requirements: You must hold a full UK driving licence as driving is essential for this role.

Pay and Enhancements:

  1. Night enhancement of £1.50 per hour from 8pm to 7am (Monday – Sunday), excluding sleep-ins.
  2. Weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour from 7am to 8pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Rated "Outstanding" by CQC, Bradbury Wing is a residential care home for 20 adults with physical disabilities, located in Jesmond, Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

About The Role

As an Activities Worker, you will deliver engaging social and recreational activities, organize outings and events, and bring your creativity and passion to enhance the lives of our residents. Your role may involve organizing large-scale social events, discovering shared interests, or facilitating activities like baking.

About You

No prior experience in activity work is required. However, artistic flair, organizational skills, or an interest in social activities are essential. Experience working with people with disabilities is advantageous.
