Job summary

Maples Care Home in Bexleyheath is seeking an Activities Lead to develop and deliver a high quality, person-centred activities programme that promotes wellbeing and social interaction. You will run group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents’ interests, including those living with dementia, working closely with the Home Manager to align with care plans and maintain records.

This role is based onsite in the UK, with paid DBS, pension, and uniform provided, and a contracted 30 hours per

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Activities Coordinator or similar is essential.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging activities and events.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Confident, creative and proactive approach.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience supporting older people, including those with dementia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a high-quality, person-centred activities programme.
• Lead group and one-to-one activities tailored to residents' interests and care needs.
• Maintain accurate records and continuously review the programme.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager and wider care team to ensure alignment with care plans.
