Job summary

Greenways Care Home in Anniesland, Glasgow, is seeking an Activities Coordinator on a full‑time contract to design and deliver engaging, person‑centred activities for residents, including those living with dementia. You will work with the care team to plan group and 1:1 sessions tailored to individual preferences, promoting wellbeing and social interaction.

We value creativity, good communication, and teamwork, with training provided; PVG checks, pension contributions, uniform supplied, and 5.6

Greenways Care Home is a stunning new, purpose-built home in Anniesland, offering high-quality residential, dementia, nursing and respite care for 58 residents across four warm, community-focused floors. Role

Activities Coordinator – Contract

• £12.71 per hour
• Contracted to full time hours per week
• Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided
• 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview

As Activities Coordinator, you will play a key role in enhancing daily life by delivering engaging, meaningful and person centred activities that promote wellbeing, independence and social interaction. You will plan and deliver a varied programme of group and one to one activities, tailored to individual interests, abilities and care needs. Building strong relationships is essential, enabling a clear understanding of preferences and supporting inclusive participation for all individuals, including those living with dementia. Working as part of the wider team, the role contributes to a positive and stimulating environment where individuals feel valued, active and connected. This role is open to both experienced candidates and those new to care, with training and support provided to help you develop in the role.
