Job summary

Agincare in Derby is seeking an Activities Coordinator at the Nightingale care home to plan and lead fun activities, games, crafts and social events for residents, using creativity and energy to foster joy and connection.

This role offers 24 hours per week with shifts from 10am to 4pm, a warm, people‑focused environment, funded training, pension and other benefits. Right to work in the UK, and a background in care with social engagement is desirable.

Qualifications

  • Plan and run activities, games, crafts and social events for residents.
  • Warm, creative and people‑oriented personality.
  • Experience in care or activities coordination is desirable.
  • Funded training and development opportunities.

All you need
  • Right to work in the UK for at least 12 months
  • The availability to commit to 24 hours per week to include alternative weekends
  • Working 6 hours shifts from 10am to 4pm - there is some flexibility with the working hours
  • A warm , creative, people-focused personality
  • A background working within the care sector which includes planning, putting activities in place, social engagement and participation in events would be desirable
