Job summary

Agincare is seeking an Activities Coordinator for Cheriton care home in Dorchester. You will design and run engaging activities, including games, crafts and outings, to brighten residents' days. The role runs 40 hours per week, with shift 09:30am–6pm and every other weekend.

Join a supportive team, bring energy and creativity to daily life, and coordinate events, entertainers and visits to promote movement, independence and joy for residents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months right to work in the UK.
• Availability to commit to 40 hours per week.
• Warm, creative, people-focused personality.

Responsibilities

• Bring energy, creativity and fun into daily life for residents.
• Plan engaging activities, games, quizzes, crafts & one-to-one moments.
• Organise events like BBQs and Christmas parties.
• Arrange visits from entertainers & local businesses.
• Support movement and independence through fun physical activities.
• Lead social outings and in-home activities for all abilities.
