Hatzfeld Care Ltd is seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Co-ordinator to plan, organise and deliver meaningful activities for residents at Laughton Croft Residential Home in Gainsborough. The role is full-time and will include some weekends, with a focus on promoting social interaction and cognitive engagement to enhance residents' quality of life.

You will work closely with care staff, families, volunteers and external entertainers, manage the activity budget, and ensure activities

Qualifications

• Plan and deliver activities tailored to residents' physical, emotional and cognitive needs.
• Promote participation in group and 1:1 activities such as arts, music and reminiscence therapy.
• Work with care staff, families, volunteers and external entertainers.
• Monitor engagement and adapt activities for changing needs and abilities.
• Ensure activities are safe, inclusive and compliant with safeguarding and health & safety rules.
• Maintain activity supplies and manage the activity budget.

We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and energetic Activities Co-ordinatorto plan, organise, and deliver meaningful and engaging activities for residents. The ideal candidate will have a person-centred approach, promoting well-being, social interaction, and cognitive stimulation to enhance residents’ quality of life.

Responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

Plan and delivera variety of activities tailored to meet the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive needs of residents.

Promote participation in group and one-to-one activities such as arts and crafts, music sessions, reminiscence therapy, games, gentle exercise, gardening, and themed events.

Work collaboratively with care staff, families, volunteers, and external entertainers to enhance the activity programme.

Monitor and record resident engagement and progress, adapting activities to meet changing needs and abilities.

Ensure activities are inclusive, safe, and appropriate for residents.

Maintain supplies and manage the activity budget effectively.

Comply with safeguarding and health & safety regulations at all times.
