About The Role
In your role as anActivities Co-ordinatorat HC-One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Everyone who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories. Joining HC-One offers a wonderful opportunity to give back to these individuals.
As anActivities Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include planning and implementing activities that delight our Residents, assisting the Home Manager with organising fundraising events, and encouraging Residents to socialise and explore hobbies. You will work with the care team to create engaging experiences, all conducted with kindness and consideration.
We seek someone with experience working with vulnerable individuals, ideally in developing activity programmes. Your positive energy, ability to connect with people, planning, organisational, and IT skills are essential. Effective time management and considerate communication with Residents and colleagues are also important.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate actions to take. All staff will attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and be prepared to seek advice and escalate concerns as needed.
