Job summary

Lloyd's Register International in Glasgow is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to plan and deliver engaging activities that delight residents, boost wellbeing and social interaction. You will tailor activities to individual needs, require patience and kindness, and you will need strong planning and IT skills with the ability to manage time effectively.

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (Adults) or equivalent working towards Level 3 is desirable.

Job description

As a Activities Co-ordinator this will mean planning and implementing the kinds of activities that will delight our residents. Youenriching the lives of our residents and helping them stay physically and mentally active. This is a fun and immensely rewarding role that promotes socialising and enhances wellbeing, playing a major part in our residents’ engagement and happiness.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about making people happy, you will be the sort of person who likes to get to know people so that activities can be personalised. Parts of this role will be challenging so it is vital that you are patient and kind.You’ll have great planning, organisational and IT skills and be able to manage your time effectively.

It is desirable for you to have a S/NVQ level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent working towards level 3.
