Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Lutterworth for a fixed-term 9‑month contract. The role involves delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot, with a 37-hour week on a rotating schedule that includes weekends.

You will be active outdoors, cover routes in all weather, and maintain high standards of customer service. Training is provided, and overtime is paid.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and comfortable walking long distances, climbing stairs/hills, lifting 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service, able to work outdoors and independently.

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
