Job summary

Royal Mail Group in Neston is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) on a fixed-term 6-month contract. You’ll work 30 hours per week across Monday to Saturday with Sunday shifts, delivering letters and parcels in your local area.

You’ll need a full manual UK driving licence, be physically fit, and able to work outdoors in all weathers. Training is provided and a red Royal Mail van is supplied.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated and well organised.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities

• Sort letters and parcels at the delivery office.
• Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Work outdoors in all weathers.
