Job summary

Royal Mail in Oxford East is looking for a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to deliver letters and parcels in the local area. You’ll work on a rotating shift schedule, including weekends, with a rota that confirms hours and routes.

You’ll be outdoors in all weather, sort mail, and drive a Royal Mail van daily while building relationships with customers. Full training and a uniform are provided, with opportunities to grow within the service.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points)
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances
• Reliable and self-motivated
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently
