Job summary

Royal Mail in Kidlington is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) to join our team on a permanent contract. You will sort letters and parcels at the delivery office, drive a Royal Mail van and deliver by foot in your local area, and build relationships with customers while working outdoors in all weather.

The rota includes weekend work and 1 in 5 Sundays as required. We provide full training, a uniform, and a supportive environment with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• A full manual UK driving licence (maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address).
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily and able to pass a driving assessment.
• Physically fit for long walks, stairs/hills, and lifting 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated.
• Strong organisation and resilience in a busy environment.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.
