Job summary

Royal Mail Group is hiring a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Margate for a fixed-term 6-month contract. You will sort mail, deliver by van and on foot, and engage with customers while working outdoors on a 35-hour week with shift patterns across 7 days.

The role requires a full UK driving licence, willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily, and passing a driving assessment. Physical fitness and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to drive Royal Mail van daily and pass driving assessment.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances, climb stairs/hills, and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable, self-motivated with strong organisation and resilience.
• Comfortable working outdoors and independently.

Responsibilities
