Job summary

Royal Mail Group is seeking a Postie (Postal Delivery Driver) in Lockerbie. You will sort, deliver letters and parcels by van and on foot across your local area, while building relationships with customers and working outdoors in all weather.

The role involves a rotating shift schedule, some weekends, and a 24-hour week with 13.68 per hour, plus paid overtime. Full training and a uniform are provided.

Qualifications

• Full manual UK driving licence is required.
• Willingness to drive a Royal Mail van daily.
• Physically fit and able to walk long distances and lift 10kg+ mailbags.
• Reliable and self-motivated in a busy environment.
• Strong organisation and resilience are essential.
• Customer-focused with pride in delivering great service.

Responsibilities
